Heat rises when voices stay louder than the room's normal level and cools down when things go quiet.
Keep it working
- Keep this page open and the screen on. The page keeps the screen awake while listening. Use Dim screen to turn it black.
- If you lock the phone or switch apps, the phone pauses listening.
- iPhone: turn the ringer switch on (not silent) and the volume up. The microphone light turns off for a moment while a joke is spoken; that's normal.
- Plug the phone in for long sessions.
- Add it to the home screen to open it like an app: Chrome menu ⋮ → Add to Home screen; iPhone Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
